Nearly seventy percent of the earth's surface is covered with water. And, whether it be by coincidence or divine, our human bodies are also nearly seventy percent water and the salinity of our extra cellular fluids is also approximately that of ocean water. These three simple atoms, H2O, are so integral to our existence, that the discovery of it on another celestial body is almost a certain indicator of life.
THE PROBLEM
Nowadays water contains a lot of toxic products of human civilization. Contamination from gasoline, fluorides, pharmaceutical drugs, pesticides, lead, asbestos, nitrates, and even radioactive waste all have an impact on our water. Over 800 water borne impurities have already been identified and the number is still rising.
It is worth mentioning that diseases caused by toxic water borne substances are of chronic nature, usually discovered after longer exposure time.
A report released by University of Maine, USA concludes that the most common chronic diseases connected to consumption of contaminated drinking water are liver and kidney disorders. It is not very surprising considering the fact that kidneys and liver are the natural filters of our body.

Right from the start of its journey through Aqueena, the dissolved in water contaminants meet a barrier consisting of three high capacity pre-filters. Larger particles like sediment, dirt and rust with a diameter 0,02mm or higher are removed by the first sediment pre-filter of Aqueena. The smaller, invisible to the naked eye colloidal particles which passed the first obstacle are stopped by the four times more dense second sediment pre-filter. The third, highest quality activated carbon adsorption pre-filter removes chlorine, light micro particles, some organic impurities and basic taste defects.
This triple filtered water is already at this stage better than any tap water but this is just for starters.
Next stage of water purification in Aqueena consists of an osmotic semi-permeable membrane that filters water at molecular level. The clean water atoms are passing through millions of incredibly small, visible only under electron microscope, membrane pores that are not bigger than 0,0001 micrometer. Chemical substances, organics, toxins, heavy metals, trihalomethanes, biological impurities and hundreds of other dissolved in water contaminants are trapped, separated and flushed to drain.
